No, however, we recommend buying early now that badges are available so you can plan ahead and avoid missing announcements. There will only be a certain number of VIP badges sold. There will be lots of gaming tables, however they may fill up quick.
YES, however, door availability may depend on capacity.
JayCon is designed to be welcoming for a wide range of attendees. Parents or guardians should review event details and supervise guests under the age of 13.
Bring your ticket confirmation, comfortable clothes, and any gaming supplies you want for open play or demos.
Expect a mix of tabletop role-playing games, board games, featured sessions, panels, and community activities throughout the event. There will be tables featuring D&D, Pathfinder,Call of Cthuhlu and Warhammer. There will also be Magic the Gathering, Pokemon and Lorcana.
ABSOLUTELY. There will even be special gifts given at the convention for cosplayers. There will also be a best cosplay contest!!!
Register: Please register your costume for the contest Saturday 6:00PM at the front Welcome Desk. Awards will be given at 8:00.
Costume Conduct: Remember this is a family friendly environment. Costumes can NOT have obscene, hateful, or explicit imagery / text. Nothing politically/ religious or provocative will be allowed.
Safety & Prop Restrictions: Weapon Checks: All prop weapons must be peace-bound and approved by the Weapon Master.
Prohibited Items: Real weapons (real firearms, metal swords, knives, or functional blades), open flames, pyrotechnics, flash paper, explosives, smoke machines/ pressurized gasses or liquids are banned.
Jay Con is a tabletop gaming convention hosted in Jay County, Indiana for fans looking to play, explore, and connect. This convention is centered on role-playing games, war games, card games, vendors and memorable in-person fun.
Players, game masters, vendors, families, and curious newcomers are all welcome. The event is designed to be approachable and community-focused.
Yes, food and drinks are allowed to be brought in. We will also have lots of snacks, food and drinks available.
